Under a new program sponsored by the Monadnock Sustainability Hub and launched initially in Peterborough, residents planning an energy-related project in their home can learn from the experience of neighbors who have been through the same sort of work already.

The types of projects for which coaches can provide help include:

• Energy audits
• Weatherization, including insulation, and air sealing
• Installation of heat pumps
• Installation of solar panels
• Purchase of an electric vehicle (EV)
• Installation of batteries to provide backup power when it's needed
• Purchase of an induction range
• Installation of a heat pump water heater
• Federal and state financial incentives to reduce your cost for energy projects

When you request a coach, we'll pair you with someone who has completed a project of the sort that you are planning.
