Program Fellow Alicia DeBruin will be at the library to present HeatSmart+ and answer residents' questions about the program.

HeatSmart+ is a cash incentive program aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. Funded by a US Department of Energy grant, this program provides eligible residents of Peterborough and Harrisville with incentives to make energy efficient upgrades in their homes.

Residents of Peterborough and Harrisville are eligible for financial incentives of up to $3,300 in the form of a reimbursement for home energy efficiency upgrades. Eligible home energy efficiency upgrades include:

• Heat pump air conditioner/heater
• Weatherization
• Electric panel and/or wiring
• Heat pump water heater
• Electric/induction stove
• Heat pump clothes dryer
